  • What security measures are in place to ensure my child's safety?

Aeda’s Angels prioritises safety. We have locks on all gates, we ensure that the front door of the setting is triple locked and that only one entrance/ exit is used by all families and stff throughout the day, we have CCTV monitoring, and a robust signing in/out process. Only authorised individuals can pick up your child.  We will not send your child home until contact has been made with the parent if we do not recognise/ or know the person that has come to collect your child.  We will tell them to wait outside until we are certain that this is a trusted adult.

  • How will you keep me informed about my child's progress and daily activities?

We use a broadcast to provide daily updates including images of the activities and lunches.  We are switching to Childs Path where we will be sharing the daily updates and photos, and information about your child's activities and milestones. You'll also have opportunities for formal parent-teacher meetings.

  • Are meals provided, and what about dietary restrictions or allergies?

We offer healthy meals and snacks and can accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Please inform us of your child's specific needs.

Aeda’s Angels supports and guides children through toilet training, respecting their individual readiness and needs.

Our nursery maintains low staff-to-child ratios to ensure each child receives personalised attention. Our educators are highly qualified and experienced in early childhood education.

  • Can I visit the nursery before enrolling my child?

Absolutely! We encourage parents to visit our nursery to meet our staff, see our facilities, and get a feel for the environment. Please schedule a visit with us using the contact us page.

  • What is the procedure for handling medical emergencies or illnesses?

We have clear procedures for handling medical emergencies. We'll contact you immediately, and if necessary, seek medical attention. We record all accidents and incidents, and will ask parents for a signature at collection.  Children with contagious illnesses are asked to stay home until they're well.

  • How does Aeda’s Angels support transitions, such as moving to a new room or starting school?

We support children through transitions with care, communication, and collaboration. We help them adapt to new environments, if the children are moving up to a different classroom we will send them in with their keyworker so that they can spend some time adjusting to the new place with their trusted adult.  When we feel the child is comfortable and happy we will make this their new classroom.

  • How do you handle behavioural issues or discipline?

We use positive guidance techniques to encourage appropriate behaviour and ensure a safe, nurturing environment.  If a child needs some time for reflection on their actions we offer a thinking chair, where the child can sit and think about what they have done and what might have been the better choice. This is done with the chair still in the setting, by where the children may be doing their activity.  We do nor degrade the children by making them face the wall, or isolating them in any way.

  • What is the procedure for child pickup and drop-off, and how is child safety ensured during these times?

Child pickup and drop-off are carefully managed. Only authorised individuals can collect your child, and we have measures in place to verify their identity.
